Laura Collins-Williams is a paralegal supporting students with disabilities and their families in special education and student-rights matters. Her work is grounded in a commitment to fairness, meaningful access to education, and respect for student rights.

Laura brings more than two and a half decades of experience with education-related legal issues affecting students and families, including matters involving special education, student discipline, Section 504, Title IX, bullying and harassment, and compliance with state and federal education laws. This background informs her work in the legal setting, where she supports plaintiff-side advocacy on behalf of students and families.

Laura is known for her calm, methodical approach and her ability to work thoughtfully with families navigating complex and often stressful situations. She is motivated by a belief that families deserve clear guidance, careful attention, and respect throughout the legal process, especially when decisions affect a child’s education and well-being. She approaches her work with patience and care, understanding that clarity, consistency, and trust can provide reassurance and stability for families facing unfamiliar circumstances.

She holds a California teaching credential and an administrative services credential, as well as a Master of Science in Special Education and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles.
